We are excited to unveil our brand new website for the 25th JDC Court House in Plaqumeines Parish. After a lot of hard work, the completed design has many features to help you interact with our office and find informative news and links within.
Under the direction of Chief Judge Michael Clement in 2012, the Court began the development of the website with the vision of the future. The Judges emphasized two key needs they wanted fulfilled: 1) openness and transparency to the public and 2) easy accessibility to information in addition to providing a website that offers information the public needs, could share and benefit from.
The 25th Judicial District Court’s new website features futuristic web technologies to offer the people of Plaquemines Parish easy access to location, basic forms and information about the court. In addition, we are also utilizing Facebook and Google Plus pages for our social media presence. The new website for the 25th Judicial District Court is www.25thJDC.com. 25thJDC.com was built on the latest web design approach called ‘responsive web design’ which aims to create websites that provide an optimal viewing experience, easy reading and navigation. The result of this technology is readable and accessible across a wide array of browsers and devices.
In a time of strained budgets and government transparency that no longer allows for extravagant overspending, this website platform is the most cost effective and efficient platform for the type of information they are providing to the public.
